About Us

Hey, myself E. Elizabeth Bailey.

A first-generation college student and poet from rural Alabama. My writing is deeply rooted in the South, shaped by the places and people that raised me. I’m currently working toward my certification in family counseling, and when I’m not doing that, you’ll find me writing – exploring the raw, real, and redemptive moments of life through poetry.
I write about what I know – creekwater summers, food pantry lines, Snapple caps, DIY piercings, and the quiet revelations tucked inside everyday Southern life. Writing, for me, is a way to make sense of the world and share the truths that often go unnoticed. If you’ve ever stood in a dusty parking lot and felt the weight of generations or watched a creek carry your thoughts downstream, I think you’ll find something familiar in my work.
